⚠️ Note: Some effects, like dispersion and caustics, may increase render times. Also, certain effects work best with ample geometry.

Rain Effects – a node group that outputs a ripple mask (usable as displacement)
Fake Flow Map Effect – simulates flow using geometry proximity
Water Level Tool – adds a globally controlled sediment layer to materials
Geometry Node Setup – distributes leaves, rain particles, and bubbles along shorelines

Feature Details
🌊 Water Shader
A plug-and-play shader that simulates natural water behavior—ready for animation and real-time use.
🔆 Caustics (Fake)
Caustics are simulated using layered Voronoi textures. They can also be animated for dynamic lighting effects.
🌈 Dispersion
Adds chromatic dispersion to simulate light splitting through water surfaces. Works great for pools or crystal-clear water.
🌫 Volumetrics
Realistic water volume is achieved by:
Blending two custom colors
Depth-based density control
This helps simulate murky or tropical waters depending on your scene.
☁ Foam
Two layers of foam are included:
General Foam – spread across the surface using noise textures
Contact Foam – based on ambient occlusion, appearing near objects in contact with water
These details make the surface look more dynamic and alive.
🌊 Waves
Includes procedural wave patterns that can be easily animated. No simulation required.
🌊 Flow Map (Fake)
Uses geometry proximity to generate wave distortions near shorelines. You’ll need:
High geometry resolution
All shoreline objects in one collection
This effect mimics how water flows around land masses and obstacles.
🌧 Rain Effects
A rain splash effect using displacement from a ripple mask node group.
🧱 Geometry Node Group
Controls include:
Resolution selector
Target group for shoreline influence
This allows for proximity-based wave behavior and environmental effects.
🍃 Scatter Leaves Near Shoreline
Leaves and other objects can be auto-scattered near shorelines based on geometry proximity.
⚠️ This effect is performance-heavy. Keep it off until you finalize shoreline placement.
💧 Raindrops
Includes a raindrop generator that spawns drops on the water surface.
Comes with a raindrop card to preserve performance
Shader drops and object drops are not aligned, so avoid for extreme close-ups
Includes a Geo Node group that spawns drops on any object in a selected collection
🫧 Bubbles
Distributes bubbles inside the water volume for added depth and realism.
